About Benchmark Brickwork and Masonry
Formed by Dominic Walshaw in 2017, Benchmark Brickwork and Masonry set out to ensure local people can access a trusted and experienced tradesman.
Dominic has been on a 15 year journey to pursue lifelong goals in heritage, brickwork and stone masonry. Dominic was part of a team completing works on the multi million pound, award-winning redevelopment at Lincoln Castle.
What We Do
Lime Repointing
The process of applying mortar to the spaces between masonry units. Lime re-pointing helps to protect the masonry from decay due to water infiltration. We will replace brick work when necessary.
We repair those buildings that have already experienced decay and damage, we have the tools and expertise to appropriately plan a course of action and complete to above satisfactory standards.
Restoration Projects
Our expertise allow us to complete restoration work to high standards, using traditional methods.
We have completed many aesthetically pleasing projects, having the privilege to work on 12th century churches, chapels and more.
We also provide services caring for chimneys, extensions, windows, doors and garden walls.
